Having held key roles at institutions like OCBC Bank, Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, and Ria Money Transfer, he possesses a comprehensive background in financial management and growth strategies.
His career started at OCBC Bank as a Data Analyst, where he delivered vital insights for departmental budgeting and process improvements. He later joined the treasury department at Tan Chong Motor Berhad to oversee cash flow operations, foreign exchange transactions, and trade facilities while leading financial planning and forecasting.
Hong expanded his knowledge of global currency markets as a Forex Trader at Ria Money Transfer. In this role, he managed Southeast Asian and G10 currencies, handled active position management, and negotiated rates with banking partners to bolster financial performance.
